Previous Work

Elliott Durham School, Arnold
This was the first of several similar style sports halls that we were commissioned to draw, fabricate and erect. The roof purlins are laid to a curve on faceted rafters over the main hall, and then feed into a long monopitch over the offices and changing rooms to create the asymmetrical look as seen in the photos.

Farnborough School, Clifton
This contract is very similar in nature to the Elliott Durham School project and indeed is one of two near identical buildings (the other being Henry Mellish School at Bulwell) that were offered to us on the strength of our performance on that previous work.

Surestart Centre, Bestwood
Containing around 45 tonnes of steelwork, this structure consists of two monopitch roofs rising towards a central "trench", with a precast concrete floor supported on steel beams and two single-storey out buildings.

Ragdale Hall Health Hydro, Melton Mowbray
Containing a large proportion of curved steelwork, suspended walkways, castellated beams and feature haunches, this project is sited on a prestigious health farm and looks impressive from any angle.

Manthorpe Engineering Ltd, Codnor Gate
A 23m span, 12m high portal frame structure containing full length crane track with full height cladding and two office "pods" weighing approximately 120 tonnes.

The Christian Centre, Ilkeston
Our brief was to increase the useable floorspace of the existing building by around 400% by extending to the side of the plot and creating a first floor above, housed underneath a large feature roof We were deeply involved in the initial development stages of the project before being commissioned to produce the drawings, fabricate and erect the steel frame.
